Havre Trails 1st Hike is Saturday at Sands WPA, Fresno WMA

HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Havre Trails Organization will be hosting their first hike of the season on Saturday. A press release says this first hike will be a very mellow walk on easy terrain and will include birdviewing with Professor Terri Hildebrand at the Sands Waterfowl Protection Area and the Fresno Wildlife Management Area.

They will have monthly hikes throughout the summer. On Sunday, May 19th, they will have a botany-viewing hike on Mount Centennial in Rocky Boy; On Saturday, June 15th, they will hike on Ranger Creek in Rocky Boy; and on Sunday, July 14th, they will hike the Bear Paw Nature Trail in Beaver Creek Park.

On Saturday, August 24th, they will host their 3rd annual summer Brewfest Fundraiser in Pepin Park in Havre. And on the evening of September 6th, they will have a stargazing event above Rotary Falls in Beaver Creek Park.
