(Missoula) According to the Missoula Rural Fire District, there are many ways to prep your home and land for the season.
As conditions dry and wildfire season approaches Montana, they say the best thing you can do to keep yourself and safe is to be properly prepared.
This includes clearing leaves and debris from gutters and decks, moving propane tanks and firewood stacks at least 30 ft from your home, and keeping your lawn hydrated and green – if it’s brown, cut it down.
