HAVRE, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana State University-Northern chapter of the Montana Federation of Public Employees unanimously approved three scholarships for MSU-Northern, totaling $3,000.
A press release says that the scholarships will help Montana high school students in the following categories: A recruitment scholarship, created to provide an incentive for students considering low enrollment programs at Northern. A high school counselor’s choice scholarship, created to allow high school counselors the opportunity to nominate students who have an interest in attending Northern. The dual enrollment scholarship was created to assist high school students with such needs as textbooks and other course accessories.
The scholarships will be awarded during the fall 2019 semester.
