(Havre) As previously reported by New Media Broadcasters, a hike to the Devil’s Chimney cave formation in the Sweetgrass Hills was planned for gathering in Havre on June 15th.
As of June 12th, that hiking trip has been canceled.
The trip would have entailed a 5 mile round-trip voyage with time in the middle to explore the cave.
An official reason for the cancellation was not given, but organizer Lindsey Bennett says that those that had already registered for the hike were notified of it’s cancellation.
