(Bozeman) The Custer Gallatin Forest is welcoming Matt Jedra as the Custer Gallatin National Forest’s new Forest Supervisor.
Matt is currently the Deputy Forest Supervisor on the Tahoe National Forest in Nevada City, California. He replaces Mary Erickson who retired December 2023.
The Forest Service says Matt’s 20-plus year commitment to natural resources has included research work in forest ecology at the Rocky Mountain Research Station, working as a Timber Management Officer, and working for Yellowstone and Denali National Parks for several years
