(Havre) The Havre City Streets and Sidewalks committee met on June 17th.
The committee discussed the snow removal ordinance and the way that it’s enforced. Currently, while the city ordinance that requires individuals to clear their own snow is in effect, it is not actively policed unless by complaint.
The committee also talked about the quality of the streets and sidewalks themselves in Havre City Limits, and Director of Public works Trevor Mork brought up the option of Special Improvement Districts for those that want their area fixed sooner than later; for more information on SID’s from Mork, listen to our extended conversation with him on Insight.
