(Havre) Havre Police Department announced that they’ll be holding their National Night Out event on August 27th.
New Media Broadcasters spoke with Captain Ryan Pearson for more information.
“National Night Out is an event that we started for Havre about 12 years ago. It promotes crime prevention, crime awareness, drug prevention drug awareness; but we also wanted it to be a situation where we could bring several service organizations and law enforcement entities all together at one location for the general public to come out and enjoy us and talk to us”
The event will feature a gun raffle, live music, and a free barbecue courtesy of the Havre Lions Club according to Pearson, those interested can simply show up the night of the event in the MSU Northern Student Union Building Drive at 6pm.
