HELENA, Mont.- The Frontier Conference announced its first Frontier Conference / Erck weekly awards of the 2024 season, featuring MSU-Northern, University of Providence, and Carroll College.
MSU Northern’s Alana Graves earned attacker of the week honors.
Graves, a senior from Ballantine, Montana, led the Skylights to a 3-1 record over the weekend at the Big Sky Challenge in Butte.
From her middle block position, Graves tallied 47 kills over four matches (3.36 kills per set) on an impressive .407 hitting percentage. Graves totaled double-digit kills twice over the weekend, including 16 against Embry-Riddle and 13 against Our Lady of the Lake.
Defensively, she was just as impressive, adding 16 total blocks on the weekend.
This is Graves’ second career Erck Hotels / Frontier Conference Player of the Week award.
Other award winners for the week were: Bella Thompson of Providence, setter of the week and Julia Carr of Carroll College was defender of the week.
