(Havre) The Havre Fire Department announced that they’re holding their annual Everyone Loves a Firefighter food drive on November 6th.
New Media Broadcasters spoke with Cody Mclain, Captain and Head Elf with the Havre Fire Departments Food Drive, for more information.
“So we’ll be out collecting food for the Havre Food Bank, HRDC, on November 6th. We’ll be starting at 6 o’clock PM and probably go until about 8:30 [pm], but we’ll be driving through the whole town in our fire trucks and our ambulances. We’ll have our lights and sirens on to let people know we’re in the neighborhood and if people want to donate to the food bank, they could just put a bag or a box of food on their front porches and leave the light on for us and we’ll know that that house needs to be stopped and picked up”
All food donations go directly to the Havre Food Bank in an effort to ensure that in-need families have what they need during the upcoming holiday season.
