(Hill County) Hill County has been chose to receive over 16,000 dollars in aid to supplement emergency food and shelter programs in the county.
The funds come from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, which is better known as FEMA.
The Hill County FEMA Board will be in charge of deciding who gets what funding out of the 16,000-dollar total, and organizations in Hill County must meet specific requirements to be eligible, the highest of which being that they must be non-profit, faith-based, or governmental organizations who provide food, shelter, and supportive services.
