(Havre) The 42nd Havre Community Thanksgiving Dinner completed at 2pm on Thursday, November 28th.
This year, the dinner served over 700 meals. 337 people came through the doors to eat inside the St. Jude’s Parish center, with another 358 people getting meals delivered to their homes to enjoy with their families. Each of the 60 plus volunteers also ate after the crowd had died down.
These numbers are consistent with the dinners pre-pandemic numbers. Despite this being the 43rd year of the dinners existence this is only the 42nd year of proper dining room service, as they didn’t hold one during 2020.
