(Hill County) The Hill County Board of Commissioners met on Thursday, January 9th for their weekly business meeting.
The commissioners said that this week they participated in a final walk through the courthouse after the HVAC system replacement, and now most offices in the building have returned to their original places.
The board also covered a request to transfer the pay for Hill County Commissioners Executive Assistant from the Commissioner’s budget to the Clerk and Recorders Budget.
On January 16th the commission will hold a public meeting at 9:45am, just before their regularly scheduled business meeting, to establish courthouse hours. The proposed time frame is currently 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
The commissioners also requested help from Bear Paw Development to draft an assistance letter for the Hill County Children’s Advocacy Center to receive aid as part of the Victims of Crime Act.
The next meeting is January 16th at 10am in the Hill County Court House.
