(Havre) The High Plains Chapter of the Mule Deer Foundation will be holding their 2nd annual Banquet and Dinner in Havre.
New Media Broadcasters spoke with Regional Director Chris Fortune for more information.
“The main purpose of our banquets is to raise money that we can use for improving wildlife habitats especially habitats for mule deer, that’s our specialty. Our mule deer in Montana and other places across the west are declining, in some cases declining quite rapidly, and there’s various reasons for that. So we use our banquets to inform people and keep them up to date on what’s going on with the Fish, Wildlife and Parks and other game and fish agencies across the west.”
The banquet is set for March 8th, a Saturday, at the Duck Inn in Havre, starting at 5pm.
