(Hill County) The Hill County Board of Commissioners met for their weekly business meeting on Thursday, January 30th in the Hill County Court House.
The meeting began with the board acknowledging all times this week where two or more commissioners were in the same room talking business, which constitutes a quorum outside of public meeting times.
The commission also read a letter voicing a strong support of the Bureau of Indian Affairs project to improve a road near Box Elder.
The meeting day for weekly business meetings will change for the Hill County Commissioners, as they voted and approved a motion to change the day from Thursday to Wednesday. The time will still be 10am. The change has not yet taken effect.
The meeting also adjourned and then briefly reconvened to address two claims that were skipped over during the original meeting.
The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 6th.
