(NWS) The National Weather Service is predicting that the subzero temperatures affecting our region will last for at least the rest of this week.
New Media Broadcasters spoke with NWS Meteorologist Ryan Leach.
“When it gets that cold out there obviously you want to have a minimal of skin exposure to the air because you can get frostbite really quickly. Also we have concerns around calves, so any livestock and any young livestock that’s exposed to that is also at risk. So have some kind of shelter for the animal things like that if they’re outside”
As of now, NWS in Great Falls is not predicting above zero temperatures until the start of next week.
