Havre, MT – The Havre Blue Pony football team opens its season tonight at home at 7 p.m. against the Whitefish Bulldogs.
NMB Sports spoke with Head Coach Jake Eldridge after Tuesday’s practice about what the team needs to do to start week one with a 1-0 record.
“We need to be sound; we can’t beat ourselves. I think that’s the biggest thing,” Coach Eldridge explained.
“We’re obviously scouting as coaches what the other team is doing, but as far as the kids and their preparation it’s worrying about us and what can we do to get better at what we’re trying to get done.”
The Blue Ponies aim to start the season strong under the lights tonight.
