(Fort Benton) The Fort Benton School District passed both of its special elections, which will allow their schools funding to begin maintenance projects.
The levies will provide almost 1.5 million dollars to the schools, divided into just over 820 thousand for the elementary school’s sewer systems, and nearly 650 thousand for the middle and high school which needs renovations for their electricity and power system.
With the passing of the levy, the renovations are scheduled to start this summer.
