Northern Wrestling Results – 2025 Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships

MSU-Northern wrestling had its final day of conference tournament action from Redding, CA on Saturday. The Lights accumulated 94.5 points and placed fifth out of 10 schools. Eight wrestlers placed individually and five are going to nationals as automatic qualifiers.

Kolton Powers got fourth at 125 pounds. Justin Windauer was sixth at 157 pounds. Travis Waldner secured fourth at 165 pounds. Orion Thivierge was also a placer in the 165-pound weight group, taking sixth. Rylin Burns at 184 pounds was sixth. At 197 pounds, Austin Vanek took fourth. The heavyweight group of 285 pounds featured Shane Mattson getting sixth.

The names the Lights will individually send to nationals are Powers, Windauer, Waldner, Vanek, and Mattson. They will compete in the NAIA National Championships in Wichita, KS from Mar. 6-8. The other Lights in conversation for at-large bids is still to take place between now and then.
