(Chinook) Another donation to the Friends of the Pool and Park Foundation in Chinook in less than seven days: Jerry Johnson, a Chinook High School alumni, has donated over 2,500 dollars to the Foundation to date.
The Pool and Park Foundation says that they’ll be starting construction in August of this year, and thanked the community for donations and for making the project possible.
The Foundations goals are set at just under 2 million dollars for the rehabilitation of the Chinook Community Pool and Sweet Park, with their ultimate goal being that of a 3.2 million dollar sum to also include a splash pad and water slide with the pools makeover.
