Moments after the MSU-Northern Skylights season ended, the team announced its postseason signee. Coming to Northern starting next season will be Josieraye Running Wolf, who is a 5-foot-9 guard from just outside Denver.
In her senior season playing in Colorado’s most expansive classification of high school basketball, she is averaging 14.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 2.9 steals. She also has excellent ball control, totaling 97 assists, 136 steals, and 102 blocked shots and counting with her season still continuing.
“Josieraye had a good visit here and our players really enjoyed her,” Skylights coach Chris Mouat said in a press release. “She’s had a good career at Mountain Range (High School) and has the potential to be a very good player in the Frontier Conference.”
Running Wolf will be an education major when she steps on campus this fall at MSU-Northern.
