(Montana) As previously reported by New Media Broadcasters, some government agency locations in the state were listed of the Department of Government Efficiency’s website to be cut as part of the wide reaching DOGE government spending cuts.
The Social Security Administration Offices in Kalispell and Missoula are no longer listed under the lease cuts page of the DOGE website. It is unclear whether these have sold or are simply no longer chosen to be sold.
The Department of Government Efficiency has announced that the Federal Government has achieved over $100 million in annual rent savings through the cancellation of more than 250 vacant or underutilized leases.
