MSU-Northern rodeo took center stage for the MSU rodeo in Bozeman on Thursday night.
On night one, the Lights found themselves last of seven schools with 80 points, while the Skylights were in third with 255 points.
There were a couple of individual notes from Northern rodeo. Brier Selvidge finished the steer wrestling in 5.4 seconds, which was good for second place. Kenda Statham finished third in goat tying, completing the turn in 7.2 seconds. In the women’s all-around, Georgia Orahood sat second with 185 points. Ethan Frasier was third in the bareback riding, doing so with 124 points.
Coverage continues from the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse on Friday night with the championship round top 10. Selvidge, Statham, and Orahood will be joined in the finals by Britney Cox and Brooklin Baukol in barrel racing, as well as Allee Bartlett in breakaway roping.
