(Polson) The Havre Blue Ponies Boys and Girl Track Team traveled to Polson on Saturday for their final regular season meet. Macy Brandon led the girl’s team with a victory in the 400 meters. Brandon was also a member of the girls 4 By 100 Relay team who finished first in a person best time of 48 point 81 seconds. Other member of the relay were Ella Harber, Macee May, and Kadence Reiter. In the 100 Meter Race, Reiter, Brandon, and Harber took 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Other top finishers for Havre include Reiter and Harber in the 200 meters with 2nd and 3rd place finishes. Hailey Gingery placed 3rd in the 1600 Meters, the 4 by 400 relay team finishing 2nd, and Daceen Verploegen claiming third in the High Jump. The discus saw Katie Tilleman place 3rd and Roma Gum place 4th. As a team the girls scored 92.5 points.
For the Blue Pony Boys, top placers included the 4 by 400 Relay Team finishing 4th, Tyson Brandon finishing 5th in 400 meters. Mason Gregoire placing 5th in the 3200 Meters, and Teagan Solomon finishing 5th in the pole vault. As a team the Blue Pony Boys finished with 11 points.
This week the Havre Boys and Girls track teams start their post season at the Eastern A Divisional hosted by Dawson County High School in Glendive.
