(Hill County) The Hill County Board of Commissioners met Thursday for their weekly business meeting.
The meeting started with 11 matters of county employment being seen by the commission. Most of these were seasonal hires for Beaver Creek Park’s summer season; included in these was also the resignation of Hill County Sanitarian Will Cochran.
The board passed three matters of budget requests for the Clerk and Recorders office, the Hill County Mosquito district, and the Road Department.
The commissioners also approved a declaration to make May Treatment Court Awareness month.
The next meeting is scheduled for May 22nd.
