(Hill County) The Hill County Safety Committee met on Wednesday for their monthly meeting.
The county has continued to trend downward in injury claims.
Since 2021, the county has stayed under expectations for injury claims per month.
Slips, trips and falls are the biggest progress area for the county, there’s been significant efforts by the county to reduce injuries in those areas and the data is showing they’ve been successful.
The committee had an overall positive opinion on the safety fair. Ideas were discussed for expanding it to public involvement next year.
The county will now move into manual material handling training during the summertime.
