City of Havre Public Works Director Trevor Mork recently attended the Montana Rural Impact Forum in Great Falls. One of the topics discussed was how community residents can make an impact in their community. Mork tells us about a resident driven project, the city is now working on.
“So, SID 434 is a home-grown program that’ similar to that success story. Where you had a couple residents in that neighborhood and they wanted to see those improvements at their front door. And they understood that it’s going to come on their property assessments in the future. But it’ll hopefully result in stormwater systems being expanded and also street improvements.”
