Chinook, MT – Chinook football has started the year off 3-1 after falling at home to the Belt Huskies in a close 30-26 ball game last week.
The Sugarbeeters are back at home this week to host the Rockyboy Stars. Chinook head coach Mike Jones spoke with NMB Sports about what they learned and what they will need to get win on Thursday night.
“Our Kids are tuff. They play physical and they were ready for a big game. It’s the best I’ve seen them execute the game plan, It was a really good team we played and just came up short. Penalties and execution, that’s kind of what we talked about. We got to limit dumb penalties and execute the game plan, no missed assignments, no missed blocks and no missed coverages. Those kinds of things can help us down the road.”
Kickoff will be at 7p.m. tonight and you can listen live on KRYK.
