HELENA, Mont. — Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is now accepting proposals from conservation groups to auction or lottery off 2026 hunting licenses for species including mule deer, elk, and—for the first time—antelope and swan.
Organizations must show a clear conservation mission and submit species-specific proposals by July 15.
The Fish and Wildlife Commission will choose recipients at its August 21 meeting.
