WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, Mont. — Governor Greg Gianforte has recognized seven Montana veterans with the 2024 Governor’s Veteran Commendation, honoring both their military service and continued contributions to their communities.
Among them, Corporal Edwin Celander of White Sulphur Springs was honored for his Korean War service and decades of volunteer work, including with the local fire department and the American Legion’s White Cross program.
Each recipient received a state flag flown over the Capitol and a letter of recognition from the governor.
