Suspected Measles Case in Hill County Tests Negative; One Exposure Site Remains

HAVRE, Mont. — The Hill County Health Department says a suspected measles case reported on Tuesday has tested negative.

Officials had previously warned of potential exposure sites, but with the negative result, only one location remains an active concern—Walmart in Havre on May 23rd from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Those who were there during that time should monitor for symptoms through Friday.

Health officials say the situation is a reminder of how quickly measles can spread and are encouraging residents to ensure their MMR vaccinations are up to date to help protect the community.
