FORT BENTON, Mont. — Senator Josh Kassmier of Fort Benton was honored with the Golden Windmill Award by the Montana Farm Bureau Federation during its summer conference this week.
The award recognizes Kassmier’s strong support of agriculture through his work in the Legislature, including efforts on livestock transportation laws and income tax policy.
The Farm Bureau praised his role in advancing key bills and stopping measures seen as harmful to agriculture.
Kassmier was one of six legislators recognized for their commitment to supporting Montana’s farmers, ranchers, and rural communities.
The conference was held June 9th-11th in Fairmont Hot Springs.
