University of Providence President Father Doyle to Step Down After Six Years

GREAT FALLS, Mont. — Father Oliver Doyle, president of the University of Providence in Great Falls, will step down at the end of June after nearly six years of leadership.

Known for his student-centered approach, Fr. Doyle helped guide the university through a strategic plan, program expansion, and the pandemic.

He previously served as vice president and as pastor of St. Ann’s Cathedral.

The Board of Trustees is beginning the search for his successor and will announce transition plans soon.
