HELENA, Mont. — Montana hunters can now register for the Surplus License List, which offers leftover licenses not distributed through the initial drawing.
The randomized list will notify selected hunters by email with instructions to finalize purchases with a set timeframe.
Over-the-counter Deer B and Elk B licenses are also available for both residents and nonresidents.
Signup is open through July 15th for Deer B Surplus Licenses.
Hunters can register and purchase online at ols.fwp.mt.gov or at any FWP office.
