MISSOULA, Mont. — The Missoula County Sheriff and Coroner have confirmed that remains found on May 18th in the Upper Rattlesnake search area are those of 42-year-old Nicole Heimer of Missoula.
Heimer was reported missing April 22nd, and her vehicle was located near the Sawmill Gulch trailhead.
A multi-agency search began April 23rd.
Remains were discovered after new information was reported on May 17th and later identified by the Montana Medical Examiner’s Office.
Authorities expressed condolences to Heimer’s family and friends.
