(NMB) What was supposed to be a very busy week for the Havre Northstars last week turned out to be not so busy, thanks to mother nature.
Havre was scheduled to play seven games in the span of 6 days beginning last Wednesday but only got four of those games in. The Northstars split a conference
doubleheader with Lewistown on Wednesday, beat Great Falls in a single conference game on Thursday. Friday’s doubleheader at the Lewistown tournament
was rained out, and games with Laurel, Butte and Miles City were also rained out. Havre did get a game in with Gallatin Valley and were defeated by a final score
6 to 4. The Northstars are currently 18-9 and 1overall and have a 9 and 1 North District Conference record. They have 6 conference games this week, on the road
for doubleheaders against the Lethbridge Lakers today (Tuesday) at 5pm, Vauxhall , Wednesday at 5pm and Havre will return to Legion Field for a conference
doubleheader versus the Lethbridge Miners on Sunday at 2pm
