FWP Seeks Public Comment on Wildlife and Recreation Proposals Statewide

HELENA, Mont. — Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is seeking public comment on several proposals and environmental assessments.

The agency released its 2026-2030 Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan for review, along with projects that include bighorn sheep translocation in the Madison Range, trout restoration in Trapper and Rock Creeks, forest thinning at Lone Pine State Park, and habitat work at Bull River Wildlife Management Area.

Comment deadlines range from tomorrow to July 19th.
