HAVRE, Mont. — Melody Bernard of Box Elder, who was recently sentenced in U.S. District Court to 210 months in prison on one count of possession with intent to distribute and one count of use of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, has now been charged in Hill County District Court with two counts of Felony Deliberate Homicide by accountability for her alleged role in the deaths of two Box Elder men on March 28th, 2024.
Charges were filed on June 10th.
Bernard’s arraignment is set for Monday, June 30th at 9:30am in the Hill County Courthouse.
Assistant AG’s John Nesbitt and Stephanie Robles will be prosecuting the case as special Deputy County Attorneys for Hill County.
