GREAT FALLS, Mont. — A Dodson man has pleaded guilty to strangling a woman on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation.
29-year-old Skychief Chiefstick Lewis admitted to the charge of strangulation and now faces up to 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, and three years of supervised release.
The incident occurred on September 13th, 2024, following an argument.
Law enforcement observed physical injuries consistent with the victim’s report.
Sentencing is scheduled for October 29th.
The case was investigated by the FBI and Fort Belknap Law Enforcement Services.
