Missoula, MT – The American Volleyball Coaches Association announced the 2025 recipients of the AVCA Team Academic Award, sponsored by INTENT, on Wednesday, July 23.
on team to receive the award for the fifth straight year is University of Montana Volleyball program, whose team grade point average was 3.66 on a 4.0 scale.
In order to be eligible for the award teams must maintain a 3.33 GPA or higher for the entirety of the academic Calendar. In 2024-25 UM volleyball recorded the best team GPA under Coach Lawrence.
In the 2025 spring semester the Grizzlies had four players reach a perfect 4.0 GPA.
