Havre, MT – Havre high boys golf is entering their fourth week of competition with many ups and downs. Blue Pony Golf head coach, Dennis Murphy spoke with NMB Sports about how his team has played early In the year.
“I’m really pleased with where we’re at. Five of our eight varsity players are brand new this year and each week I’m seeing improvement in different areas of their game and they’re starting to understand course management this year. But overall this time of year I’m very pleased. I’m not surprised with some up and downs but I’m very excited about where we are at and where we are going.”
Havre golf will be Billings this Thursday and in Laurel this Friday.
