(Havre) – The Hill County Commission met for the regular meeting on Thursday. During the Public Comment period a letter from the Chippewa Cree Tribe of Rocky Boy’s Reservation was read. In the letter, the tribe commended the job the Commissioner Sheri Williams, In the letter Chairman of the Chippewa Cree Tribe Harlan Baker said “It is a pleasure to have Ms. Williams reach out and attend monthly Business Committee meetings. She is now more familiar with the many departments and opportunities the Rocky Boy Reservation has to offer the people. When she can, she is more than willing to reach out on the Tribe’s behalf to departments in Havre or assist in directing us in the right direction.”

The commission approved awarding a $25,000 contract to Circle F Insulation for work on the shop in Beaver Creek Park. The Hill County Park board approved the work earlier in July.
