Havre, MT – Fall is nearly here as August has arrived which means Havre High Blue Pony football is gearing up for another season with a special set of players returning.
Head Coach Jake Eldridge took the helm of the Blue Pony football program four season ago, making this year’s senior class special.
Coach Eldridge says that makes this season all that more exciting and meaningful. “These are the guys that were freshman my very first year, so we have kind of grown up through this program together.” said Eldridge.
Eldridge went on to say, “So I’m just really excited to get out there with them and have the relationships that we have and have the ability to really push them the way they push me and push each other you know for all of us to hopefully be successful. It’s just a great group of kids and I’m really excited to out there and get on the field with them and the other coaches and do what we love to do.”
Those seniors and coach Eldridge takes the field in whitefish for their first game on August 29th.
