Havre, MT, – It was a cloudy Saturday afternoon MSU-Northern Lights gave up 24 first half points before ultimately taking a loss at home 49-7.
In the first the lights only gave seven points through one and a half quarters before the Orediggers put up two touchdowns and a field goal late in the second.
Northern was unable to score till the fourth quarter on a none play 75 yard drive from the lights on the backs of wide receiver Devin Shelton before a two yard rushing TD from Brayden Cline.
Shelton finished with nine receptions for 100 yards. Kendal O’Neil finished with 118 yards passing on 12 completions with one interception and was sacked three times. Colter Woldstad led northern in rushing with 29 yards on 5 attempts.
