(NMB) At Monday night’s Havre City Council meeting, the Council passed unanimously ordinance 940, which creates an urban renewal district with a tax increment financing district.
In other business, the Council swore in the incoming Mayor, City Judge and Council members, who will all begin their terms on January 1st, 2026.
Public Works Director Trevor Mork updated the Council and the community on the City of Havre water projects and Police Chief Gabe Matosich presented outgoing Mayor Doug Kaercher with a gold badge from the Police Department as a retirement gift.
The next Havre City council meeting will be held on January 5th, 2026.
