Havre, MT – After going 2-0 in their first two home games of the season MSU-Northern Lights basketball looks to protect homecourt against Dakota State and Bellevue University this weekend.
The Trojans of Dakota state at Bruins are number one and number three in the conference defensive statistics. Northern already loss on the road to both teams so coach Huse of the Lights program, knows just how challenging these games will be.
“I think right now it appears that those are the two best teams on the east side. Both teams bring a lot of size a lot talent, a lot of physicality. Dakota state right now has kind of got the best defensive numbers in the conference. It’s definitely a challenge playing both these two teams twice before Christmas. At the end of the of the day everyone’s got their challenges and we’re just going to embrace it. I know our guys are excited to play them again.”
The Lights will tipoff against the Trojans at 7p.m. Friday and Saturday December 13, verses Bellevue University also at 7p.m.
