Havre, MT – Havre High Boys Basketball is coming out of the holiday break looking to create some positive momentum after starting the season 0-6.
Head Coach of the Blue Ponies WaLynn Burgess says they are trying new things, putting up a lot of shots and doing their best to deal with illness.
“Yeah, it’s an everyday competition, every day getting better. We’re trying to really focus in on some of the things over Christmas break that we can do to help progress just a little bit. we are getting a lot of shots up. We are looking into some different looks, some different defensive schemes. We have really been focusing on us this whole past week on break. Kinda getting the health bug floating around we’ve got kids being sick and what not.”
Through the first six games Havre did not play home and won’t play in Havre for the first time till January third against Malta.
Havre will step back onto the court looking for their first win on the road at Browning of Friday January 2, at 6p.m.
