(Fort Benton) – The Montana Highway Patrol reports that an 18 year old female was killed in a one vehicle accident near Fort Benton on January 7th.
A Chevrolet Camaro was northbound on U.S. Highway 87. The driver of the Camaro failed to negotiate a left hand turn in the road. The vehicle left the road on the east shoulder, rolled, and came to a stop. Both occupants of the vehicle were ejected. The driver succumbed to injuries on the scene, and the passenger was transported to the Marias River Medical Center in Fort Benton.
The name of the deceased female has not been released.
