Chinook, MT – After splitting last weeks pair of games with a win over Cut Bank and a loss at Fairfield, Chinook girls’ basketball is looking to pick up their third and fourth wins at Conrad on Friday night and at home against Choteau Saturday.
This will not be an easy task however and Coach Barta knows the challenges each team will bring.
“I think Conrad we can handle our business and if we handle our business we are going to come out on the right side. Now Choteau on the other hand; they’ve got a few more athletes that match up with us pretty well, but again if we handle our business the way I know we can hopefully we come off of Choteau with a win.” Barta said
Coach Barta knows her team can face the challenge as long as they stick to the game plan and stay focused.
“Playing together as we have been practicing, and of getting better. Moving the ball and being there for your teammates that’s a huge deal. Having confidence in your teammates that we have had all season long.”
The Sugarbeeter girls are set to tipoff at 6p.m. on Friday and 4p.m. on Saturday and will be followed by the boys both nights and you can listen live on KRYK.
