Havre, MT – MSU-Northern Lights wrestling has concluded their regular season with a road dual loss at Emry Ridle University over the weekend.
Head Coach of the Lights Tyson Thivierge says that they are now focused on what lies ahead in the postseason despite the disappointing loss.
“As soon as we were done with that duel our focus shifted to the post season. I know it looked completely lopsided but there was three or four matches in there that were pretty touch and go for us, especially our young guys, and we came out on the wrong end. The guys that continuing to take steps forward are taking steps forward and the other guys are getting their feet out of the mud.”
The Lights head into the Cascade conference tournament Friday and Saturday February 20, and 21.
