(Helena) The Montana Contractors Association is pleased to announce that Tyler Smith of Lakeside Excavation has been elected to serve as its Board Treasurer for 2026.
Smith is the owner Lakeside Excavation in Havre. A second-generation business owner and the son of the late Richard Smith and Shirlee Smith, he continues a family tradition of serving north-
central Montana through excavation and utility construction work that supports local infrastructure and communities. Lakeside Excavation has served the community since 1978, building a long-
standing reputation for dependable work and local commitment.
Smith has completed the Associated General Contractors Advanced Management Program and Project Management courses and is a graduate of the REAL Montana Program (Class One).
